Last June, I decided I was sick of the same old baggage. I was tired of feeling stuck. I was tired of not taking action on those nudges that I kept feeling...
So I spent 3 months (June, July, August) pouring into personal development, my time with the One greater, vision and mission clarity, and really finding that bigger WHY. I put pride aside and let humility guide my journey. It was hard work. It hit deep chords and it unleashed tough areas that needed to surface and heal.
It wasn't free and it wasn't easy...
I am baffled at what our society has become... we are looking for fast, free, and easy. That does not exist. However, if you are ready to dig deep and allow the next 365 days to be your best, then you are in the right place. You can make the process easier by adopting simple habits and discipline.
I am not sure where you are today, but I remember where I was last June and I want you to experience freedom to live your destiny. To answer that call and inspire and impact generations to come.
Here are 8 Simple Ways to Jumpstart Your June:
1. Take responsibility and take the FIRST step!
It is much easier to ignore the tough spots. When I started my journey, I had to face one of the hardest honesty sessions of my entire life. I had to confront a really large UGLY up close and personal. I did not like it. It hurt. And it hurt a lot!
While we all have many tough spots, what's that one BIG thing that is really weighing you down? That place that hurts so deep but that place you know you should not allow to keep you down and defeated. No more excuses. It can't be aloud to continue to take residence inside of you. Serve those eviction papers. TODAY!
Don't forget to journal as you journey. Just bits and pieces. Take notes as you learn and grow. You will need some space to write, read, listen, and cry. You will need to prepare to see the tear stained papers and feel the gut wrenching sobs.
Humility gives birth to your fears and your heartaches. It is truly a LABOR of love.
Pray: "Please, Lord, remind me daily that pride sees only me, me, me; but humility sees only YOU in me."
2. Be dedicated to the small jobs.
Everyone wants to be successful. We want to lose weight. We want a better job. We want more money and less debt. We want to wake up and feel inspired.
Yet... that's too hard, that's too much, that's just one more excuse to why someone else can achieve it and you can not. At some point, you have to stop feeling sorry for yourself and take responsibility in the small jobs.
At first those small jobs include task such as:
- making time for Him first EACH day.
- taking time to write three things you are grateful for each morning.
- blocking out time each week for personal development. *my personal library is full, I'll send you a book!*
- learning to GIVE before you can receive. *THIS IS A MUST!*
It is hard at first to think you have anything left to give when life keeps leaving you feeling shipwrecked and empty. But until you fully understand the wealth you have ALREADY been given, your cup will always SEEM empty. It is not.
3. Be ok with doubters. Especially within your inner circle.
This one hurt quite a bit. When you jump onto the path to better, you realize that it is not always the ones who you thought were your inner circle who take the journey with you.
Let me say that one more time. It is not always your family, not always those "best"friends, not always those you have picked up and helped piece together time and time again. And that is ok.
What no one could have told me a year ago was that there is a HUGE circle God has intended just for YOU! It contains people and places that will far exceed your imagination. But first you have to walk past the doubters... in what feels like a long painful walk ALONE.
Make Him your inner circle and watch as He expands your reach.
4. You have to train every day.
This isn't a three times a week commitment. In the beginning, boot camp is a must. You have to saturate those areas with good habits and learning, you have to push through the pain, and you have to omit the binge days.
What feels like a job at first, will soon become your daily vacation from life. Your daily R&R with Him and your boost to face tomorrow. These new habits and discipline will soon become the best binge day.
5. Get a new prescription.
I am amazed at how my circle, my focus, and my level changed by simply changing what I see on a daily basis. When I started connecting with other vision driven bloggers, nurses, entrepreneurs, pastors, stay at home moms, business owners.. my vision changed. My prescription was sharpened and I suddenly could see crystal CLEAR.
Did you know there are people out there who live with passion, purpose, and conviction on a daily basis? People who do not need to know you intimately to care about you genuinely! They care if you succeed and they care if you are stuck. They've trained hard for this, they've taken responsibility, they stopped enabling and they followed that nudge to MORE.
Those are your people! That is your tribe!
6. Always stay coachable.
Success is readily available to most anyone. The key dynamic is are you coachable? Do you really listen? And then do you study and follow those steps?
The day gets harder, the hours quickly disappear, and you soon find yourself at a crossroads of which way to proceed. Stay the course, practice until it becomes a habit and you will soon find yourself gliding through those sticky spots and on to greener pastures!
7. Build together.
You want to keep in your own little space... I get it! I am an introvert by nature but have genuinely found the value in TOGETHER. Your first few steps require quite a bit of soul searching, maybe even a valuable counselor or mentor, but your future requires TOGETHER.
What is possible when you join hands with others who have put in the hard work and have clear vision is beyond your greatest imagination. Monetary success becomes a byproduct of passion, purpose, and calling. You find yourself smack dab connected together in purpose.
There is no monetary value that will ever surpass that!
8. Set your next goal. Never stop dreaming.
I love that the goals I set last June have been crushed. I love that what seemed HUGE now is just a stepping stone to GREATER. You will reach those goals. You will find success and freedom. You will find YOU. And then... you will do MORE!
We are not called to most, maybe, half, unfulfilled, unsatisfied, broken, defeated, or lost. We are called to MORE.
It requires MORE of your time and MORE of your today. It requires MORE than you feel is even inside of you. But dig deep, there you will find diamonds.
Never stop dreaming. God has equipped you with EXACTLY what you need for GREAT impact! And I am here cheering you on each and every step of the way!! I hope that He is the only inner circle you really ever need and that He expands your circle of impact further than anything you can imagine.
365 days later. It really only took that FIRST step. Day 1 - June 1, 2020.
I am here. YOU taught me that there is joy outside of my pain. That together is better. That sharing is caring. And that is my MORE today.
Happy June 1st, Friends!

The new system meant that perimeter defense became more effective. It was much more difficult to NBA 2K22 MT make perimeter shots. The gameplay was slightly more evenly distributed between defense and offense. Layups were eliminated due to the new shot contest system. The proximity requirement meant that it was impossible to create layups, which are among the top looks in basketball. This issue is simple to solve. 2K Sports could modify the finishing badges so that they increase chances of scoring layups.
