Welcome to Halloween, from behind the screen,
Where you can dress all year and still have fear.
What we face today, we will face until May,
as we will try to stay as far away.
Hopes of the future remain in question,
along with school ever returning to session.
Hunker on down in your Halloween gloom,
it does seem to be the future doom.
Mask and the facts will remain in question
until the public decides to heed someone's suggestion.
And for those who question the ones who scream for protection,
it is in hopes of any further COVID infections.
Happy Halloween Covid 19 Style,
all I can do is look at life and smile.
There is no certainty that I can answer,
I'll keep tip-toeing around like some kind of dancer.
Enjoy your 2020 Halloween day,
and remember inside is where you must stay.
And as my Halloween day begins to dawn,
don't forget to stay 6 feet off my lawn!
